French is a major world language, spoken worldwide and is the official language in 29 countries, including France, Canada, Morocco, Senegal, Belgium and Haiti, to name some of them. French is often called the “language of love” because it belongs to the Romance language family and many people consider the spoken language to be very pleasant-sounding. Not to mention the romantic, widespread images of Paris and the Côte d’Azur (French Riviera). The French and Francophone cultures have produced much important work in literature, film, music, art, as well as contributed to significant philosophical and scientific research. Learning French is a great way to develop a deeper, more intimate, relationship with these cultures and is a gateway to learning other languages in the Romance language family, such as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Romanian. The Europe Tutorial Academy currently offers an on-demand coaching programme for beginner and intermediate learners (A1-B2).
